Oswaldo Segura presents Supilindo, 'the most childlike coffee in Ecuador'
Actor Oswaldo Segura has launched a coffee brand named Supilindo, inspired by his childhood connection to coffee cultivation and his character from the series 'Mis adorables entenados.'
Oswaldo Segura, a prominent actor in Ecuador, has introduced a new coffee brand called Supilindo, which he describes as 'the most childlike coffee in Ecuador.' The name derives from a term popularized by his character Felipe in the beloved television series 'Mis adorables entenados,' which aired from 1989 to 1991. Segura states that the journey to creating this coffee product has taken him two and a half years in collaboration with Monterra Global. He expresses his relief and excitement at finally bringing the product to market, emphasizing that the effort was worth the wait.
The inspiration behind Supilindo is deeply personal for Segura, who shares that his passion for coffee dates back to his childhood. Growing up in a family involved in agriculture, particularly coffee and cacao cultivation, Segura’s fond memories of visiting his relatives' farms have shaped his appreciation for the beverage. He feels a responsibility to contribute something meaningful to the legacy of his character and to share a piece of his heritage through this coffee brand.
Describing Supilindo as coffee made 'with love,' Segura has been actively promoting his new product to friends both locally and abroad. He highlights the emotional connection tied to the brand and aims for Supilindo to resonate with consumers not just as a beverage but as a reflection of his life's journey and artistic expression. As the coffee market becomes more competitive, Segura's entry could potentially attract attention and consumers who value personal stories behind their products.
