However, the family faced a critical delay due to the lack of available ambulances in the area.

Despite the urgency of the situation, Patrycja's family reportedly waited six hours for an ambulance to take her to the necessary medical facility in Wałbrzych. During this time, her father expressed shock and disbelief at the lengthy wait, highlighting the inadequacy of the emergency response system in critical situations.
