Changes are brewing in 'Senukai' stores: don't be surprised when you see this
'Senukai' stores in the Baltic region are implementing advanced solutions to enhance their operations and customer service through automation and digital pricing.
'Senukai' is undergoing a significant transformation in its operations, as disclosed by Jovita Daškevičienė, the Director of Commercial Operations for the Baltic States. The retail chain is introducing advanced solutions that will replace paper price tags with electronic ones, allowing for centralized real-time management of digital price displays and optimizing the restocking process of products. This automation will enable employees to focus more on serving customers effectively, enhancing the overall shopping experience.
The implementation of this technology will occur in phases, starting with the installation of electronic price tags in the household appliances and IT equipment sections of the stores. Following this initial phase, the project will expand to include other product categories, aiming to modernize the retail environment comprehensively. The technology partner, Hansab, is responsible for the deployment of these digital product management solutions, underscoring the collaboration between technology and retail sectors.
According to Darius Žekonis, the CEO of Hansab, this project is among the most crucial digitalization initiatives within the Baltic region's retail sector. Such technological advancements are expected to contribute significantly to the modernization of retail operations, ensuring that 'Senukai' stores remain competitive in an evolving market. The anticipated changes reflect a broader trend in retail towards automation and improved customer service delivery, aligning with global industry standards.
