Goodyear Logistics Center in New Hands

A logistics center in Tarnów, Poland, has been acquired by Hungarian company Appeninn Plc through its Polish subsidiary.

The logistics facility in Tarnów spans 56,000 square meters of rental space and is fully leased to Goodyear Dunlop Tires Operations under a long-term lease agreement. This acquisition marks a significant investment for Appeninn Plc, which aims to expand its portfolio in Poland's evolving commercial real estate market.

The property was acquired through Appeninn's Polish subsidiary, Appeninn Project-TRNW, though the exact purchase price has not been disclosed. The deal was advised by Indotek Group, which specializes in real estate investments, with technical consultancy provided by Arcadis and legal support from Wolf Theiss. Szabolcs Szimler, a director at Indotek Group, highlighted the strategic importance of this acquisition in enhancing Appeninn's asset portfolio with a fully commercial logistics center that promises stable long-term revenues.

This transaction underscores the ongoing transformation of the Upper Silesia region, which was historically linked to heavy industry but is now becoming attractive for logistics and other commercial sectors. The focus on acquiring well-located properties with secure tenants reflects broader trends in Poland's commercial real estate market, driven by the growing demand for logistics infrastructure to support economic growth.
