Caution Prevails in the Warehouse Market

The logistics sector in Poland is showing caution as major companies announce new warehouse projects amid declining demand in Europe.

The Polish logistics company Grupa Nagel has commissioned the construction of a 46,000 square meter warehouse in the vicinity of PoznaΕ„ through Panttoni, aimed at consolidating four existing locations. This move comes as other major developers, like Panttoni, are also busy erecting warehouses in Silesia for logistics operator Fiege, whose first phase consists of a 42,000 square meter building, with a future complex expected to total 240,000 square meters. The commitment to automation in warehousing processes is evident as Fiege and Rohlig Suus indicate plans to incorporate more automated solutions in their operations, notably in the Warsaw spare parts warehouse for Hisense.
