A man was taken to a hospital in Vilnius after being struck by a car that fled the scene.
On February 25, around 5:42 PM, a man born in 1976 was admitted to a hospital in Vilnius due to injuries sustained from being struck by a vehicle. The incident occurred earlier that day at approximately 4:21 PM in the village of Šilėnai, located in the Zujūnai elderate of Vilnius region, where the unknown vehicle involved left the scene immediately after the incident. The Vilnius County Police Headquarters reported on Friday that a pre-trial investigation has been initiated under Article 281, Paragraph 1 of the Lithuanian Criminal Code, which relates to causing injury or death through a road traffic offense.
