Trei completes land remediation in Milanówek ahead of schedule

Trei Real Estate Poland has officially announced the early completion of land remediation at the site of the former MIFAM surgical tools factory in Milanówek, where it is developing the Zdrój housing project.

Trei Real Estate Poland has completed its remediation efforts at the site of the former MIFAM surgical and dental tool factory in Milanówek four months ahead of schedule. This initiative was undertaken in partnership with engineering firm Remea, ensuring that the land is entirely cleansed of historical industrial contamination. The successful completion of the project is a significant milestone for the company as it marks a major step toward developing a residential community, known as Osiedle Zdrój.

The remediation process involved a substantial investment of approximately 4 million zł by Trei to address environmental concerns and to upgrade local infrastructure, which included renovations to Łączna Street. The Zdrój housing development will notably be the first project in Milanówek to achieve certification under the BREEAM sustainability system, demonstrating a commitment to environmentally responsible construction practices. This certification could enhance the appeal of the housing project in an increasingly eco-conscious real estate market.

The early completion of the remediation works could provide a competitive advantage for Trei as demand for housing continues to rise. With decreasing availability of apartments, the company is positioning itself well ahead of anticipated interest from prospective homeowners. Overall, this project not only addresses existing environmental challenges but also aligns with broader trends toward sustainable development in the housing sector.
