Three men suspected of being part of a gang that robbed residents in Guarujá, Brazil, have been arrested by local police.

In Guarujá, a coastal city in São Paulo, three men aged between 20 and 38 years were arrested for their suspected involvement in a gang known for robbing residents in front of their homes. The arrests followed an extensive surveillance operation by the Civil Police, which lasted three hours at the residence of one of the alleged offenders. During the operation, the police confiscated weapons and mobile phones that were believed to be connected to the crime.

The operation was conducted as part of an investigation into a series of robberies that occurred on February 18 and 19. One of the victims was able to identify Alex Tomaz Campos, 38, as one of the criminals involved in the robbery. Surveillance footage captured the suspects arriving in a car and attacking a group of residents near a home. Despite one victim chasing after them, the suspects managed to escape initially.

This incident highlights the increasing concerns regarding public safety in urban areas of Brazil, where gangs often target residents in their own neighborhoods. The effective response by the Police highlights the importance of community vigilance and law enforcement cooperation in addressing crime, as such gangs pose significant threats to the well-being of local residents.
