During a recent session of the Nigerian Senate, lawmakers urged President Bola Tinubu to dismiss Husaini Magaji, the Registrar-General of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), due to his repeated failure to attend committee meetings. This call to action stemmed from an incident where the CAC chief failed to appear before the Senate’s Committee on Finance, prompting considerable frustration among the senators present, especially given the involvement of the President's economic team. Senator Orji Uzor Kalu led the charges against Magaji, highlighting a pattern of avoidance that has not gone unnoticed by the Senate.
