New UBS Cidade Jardim advances and enters the painting phase

Construction of the new UBS Cidade Jardim in Pindamonhangaba is progressing to the painting phase and is set to serve approximately 3,500 residents monthly.

The city of Pindamonhangaba is nearing completion of the new UBS Cidade Jardim health unit, capable of serving around 3,500 people each month. Currently, the construction has reached the painting phase, with work underway to create access to the building. The next step involves finishing the external access, ensuring that incoming patients can easily reach the facility.

Located on Rua Pedro Costa Terclaves, the UBS Cidade Jardim spans an area of 1,400 square meters, designed to additionally serve neighboring areas such as Jardim Princesa, Lago Azul, and Mossoró. The development aims to improve local healthcare delivery in these communities, as they will benefit from services at the new health unit. The project is part of broader efforts to enhance public health facilities in the region.

Constructed by Construtora Fernandes Rodrigues LTDA EPP, which won the bidding process, the total investment for the UBS Cidade Jardim is R$ 1.9 million. The funding has been sourced from the local government's budget, along with an earmarked amendment presented by local councilors Felipe Guimarães, Gilson Nagrin, and former councilor Julinho Car. The Department of Works and Planning has stated that they expect the project to be finalized by the end of the first semester of this year, further emphasizing their commitment to monitoring the construction process closely to ensure timely completion.
