Survey shows that a new property is sold every 39 minutes in the Campinas region
In the Campinas region of Brazil, new property sales increased significantly in 2025, with a new unit being sold every 39 minutes.
A recent survey reveals a strong growth in new property sales in the Campinas region of São Paulo, Brazil, where a total of 13,338 units were sold in 2025. This number marks a notable increase of 10% compared to 2024, during which 12,121 units were sold. The increase in sales translates to a property being sold approximately every 39 minutes, indicating a robust market activity in the area.
The surge in sales also positively impacted the overall sales value, known as the Valor Geral de Vendas (VGV), which reached R$ 6.4 billion in 2025, up from R$ 5.5 billion in the previous year. The region monitored includes not only Campinas itself but also neighboring municipalities such as Hortolândia, Indaiatuba, Sumaré, Valinhos, and Bragança Paulista, highlighting the area's importance in the real estate market.
Economic expert Roberto Brito de Carvalho from PUC-Campinas attributes this growth to several factors, including the ongoing conditions in the financial market. While interest rates remain an influential factor on property transactions, the increase in sales suggests a strong demand among buyers, likely driven by competitive pricing and improved economic conditions in the region. This trend of escalating sales figures may reflect broader economic recovery patterns in Brazil's real estate sector.
