In a major success against liquor mafia, police in Vaishali district of Bihar raided an illegal liquor factory located inside a home camouflaged as a public distribution system (PDS) store. Acting on a tip-off, the police force, led by Lalganj SDPO Gopal Mandal, conducted the raid in Sheetal Bhakurhar village. The operation revealed the startling reality that illegal production and packaging of liquor was ongoing in a residential area, causing alarm throughout the locality.
The concerned police received crucial information regarding the large-scale manufacturing of foreign liquor being conducted at the residence of one Sunil Rai. During the raid, authorities were able to uncover a substantial array of evidence, including empty bottles, various branded wrappers, liquor production machines, and raw materials necessary for brewing. Additionally, thousands of liters of spirits were seized during this operation, confirming the scale of the illicit activity that was taking place under the radar.
