Acre does not meet the deadline delivery goal for products by Correios and has the second worst index in the country
Acre has achieved only 70.78% of its expected product delivery target, making it the second worst performing state in Brazil.
A recent survey by Correios revealed that the state of Acre has only met 70.78% of its product delivery target, falling significantly short of the 94.84% target set for timely deliveries. This performance places Acre as the second worst in the Northern region, only ahead of Roraima at 64.84%. With six of the seven poorest delivery indices across the country being from the North, this issue highlights significant logistical challenges faced by the region.
In contrast, other regions in Brazil showed considerably better results, with Tocantins, Rondônia, and Pará reporting delivery rates of over 77%. The top performers nationally included states like Rio de Janeiro, Paraná, and São Paulo, which all surpassed the 94% threshold. These statistics indicate a considerable regional disparity in delivery performance, prompting a closer look at the operational difficulties faced in the North.
The economic and financial crises that Correios has experienced in recent years contribute to the struggles in meeting delivery targets. Despite the challenges, it is clear that maintaining efficiency in logistics and improving overall performance is crucial for customer satisfaction and public trust in national postal services.
