A significant traffic intervention will commence in Downtown Fortaleza commencing Thursday, aimed at improving pedestrian and cyclist safety. This initiative is part of the 'Rotas da Infância' project, which focuses on creating a safer environment for children commuting to schools and connecting to recreational areas like Parque da Liberdade. The project involves replacing existing pavement with interlocking tiles and making additional urban enhancements.

The planned changes will temporarily block certain street segments providing access to the intersection of Rua Sena Madureira, Rua Pinto Madeira, and Avenida Visconde do Rio Branco. These adjustments are designed to facilitate the construction while minimizing disruptions.
