According to the latest Eurostat report summarizing data for 2024, a stark disparity in pension amounts between women and men persists in Poland and most EU countries. On average, pensions for women across Europe are 24.5% lower than those of men. In Poland, the gap is relatively smaller at 14.5%, which still shows a disadvantage for women. The report indicates worse conditions in several countries, especially in the Scandinavian region as well as in Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Spain.
