Chung-Ang University held an inauguration ceremony for its 17th president, Park Se-hyun, on Wednesday, marking the beginning of his two-year term. In his inaugural speech, Park outlined his vision for university operations, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and improved operational strategies, which he described as a 'group that moves as a whole.' He also emphasized the expansion of AI and big data-driven integrated education, aiming to create synergies between campuses through a cooperative strategy with Da Vinci Campus.

Park presented 'meta value' as a core concept for transforming the university’s structure and enhancing competitiveness. He plans to foster organic connections among industry, education, and research by expanding collaboration with the Doosan Group and other industry partners. This approach is expected to provide a solid foundation for the university's growth, facilitating the integration of industry and academic resources in innovative ways.

A graduate of Chung-Ang University, Park earned his master's degree in electronic engineering from the same institution and completed his PhD in computer engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. After serving as a senior researcher at the Korea Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, Park was appointed as a professor at Chung-Ang University in 1999. His extensive experience in various key administrative roles has significantly contributed to strengthening the university’s educational and research capabilities.
