Warning about the online store 'iizii.eu'
ECC Latvia has reported an increase in complaints against the online store 'iizii.eu', prompting consumer warnings about potential issues with orders and refunds.
The European Consumer Centre in Latvia (ECC Latvia) has noted a surge in complaints regarding the online store 'iizii.eu', which is registered in Estonia. This warning comes from the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC), which states that 'ECC Latvia' has received 25 official complaints about the store's owner, 'MainPartner', since June 2025, alongside 58 consultations related to customer issues. Recently, the complaints have increased, indicating a troubling trend for consumers.
Consumers have reported problems such as delayed deliveries after prepayment, with reasons often cited as damage during delivery or unavailability of products. Additionally, customers have received promises of refunds within five to fourteen days, which the store frequently fails to meet. This situation has led ECC Latvia to urge consumers to exercise caution when making purchases from 'iizii.eu' and to contact them directly if they encounter problems.
Furthermore, it is noted that the seller listed on 'iizii.eu' has recently been changed to another Estonian company, which may complicate matters for the consumers. As this situation unfolds, it highlights potential gaps in the regulatory oversight of online retail operations across borders, raising concerns about consumer protection in the EU's digital marketplace.
