In the statement, it was emphasized that all day and boarding schools throughout Kano State are expected to observe this holiday break starting on March 1. Parents and guardians have been advised to ensure that students in boarding schools are returned home by the early hours of February 27, 2026, to allow for a smooth transition into the holiday. Additionally, it was noted that there are specific dates for resumption, with boarding students set to return on March 22 and day students on March 23, following the break.
