A mototaxi driver in São Luís, Brazil, was arrested on the night of Tuesday, the 24th, under suspicion of delivering drugs across various locations in the city. The Maranhão Civil Police reported that he was part of a trafficking scheme active primarily in the Anil neighborhood. The arrest, which also included two other individuals, was carried out by the State Narcotics Repression Superintendence (Senarc) following an anonymous tip regarding the suspect's activities.

Acting on the information, Senarc teams initiated surveillance on the suspect, which led to his identification as he traveled from São Francisco towards Anil with a backpack. The police monitored his route and apprehended him when he approached a residence in Vila Bruna, where it was believed he was about to deliver narcotics.
