A motorcycle taxi driver in Feira de Santana, Brazil, was arrested alongside another suspect for allegedly delivering drugs.

A 45-year-old motorcycle taxi driver was arrested in Feira de Santana, Bahia, alongside an 18-year-old man on drug trafficking charges. The police indicated that the taxi driver was allegedly conducting drug deliveries through a method known as "delivery." The incident took place on Avenida Iguatemi in the Mangabeira neighborhood, an area known for its urban activity.

According to the Bahia Military Police, teams from the 25th Battalion were conducting an operation when they stopped the driver, who was riding a motorcycle. During the search, law enforcement officials discovered a substance resembling cocaine on the suspect. Upon questioning, the motorcycle taxi driver claimed that he was transporting the drugs for payment and disclosed the location from which he had received the narcotics.

Following this lead, police teams moved to Rua Caxias in the SΓ£o JoΓ£o neighborhood, where they found the second suspect, identified as the person responsible for the drugs. Upon searching the premises, additional illegal materials were uncovered, raising concerns about organized drug trafficking practices in the region and the involvement of local transport services in such criminal activities.
