Man arrested suspected of trying to kill partner and 3-month-old baby in Búzios

A man was arrested in Búzios, Brazil, for allegedly attempting to stab his partner and their three-month-old baby, leaving both severely injured.

In a shocking incident in Búzios, Brazil, a man was arrested on Tuesday, October 24, for allegedly attempting to murder his partner and infant child. The gruesome attack occurred on October 16, during which the woman sustained multiple stab wounds to her arms, chest, shoulder, and neck. Tragically, the couple's three-month-old baby also suffered injuries, including a stab wound to the right leg, and was reported to have fallen during the violent episode.

Following the attack, the man fled and was subsequently classified as a fugitive. Legal action ensued, with the courts issuing a preventive detention order for him and imposing urgent protective measures to ensure the safety of the mother and child. They were taken to Municipal Hospital Rodolpho Perissé, although there has been no update on their health status since their treatment.
