On Sunday, a violent incident occurred in São Sebastião, Distrito Federal, where a 42-year-old man attempted to kill his 29-year-old partner with a knife while their two young children were present. Neighbors, hearing screams for help, alerted the Military Police, who arrived at the scene to find the victim severely injured on the sidewalk. She was quickly taken to the Hospital de Base in Asa Sul, while the perpetrator was apprehended at the scene and confessed to the crime, which is being investigated as an attempted femicide.
