In Muriaé, Minas Gerais, a 31-year-old man has been arrested for attempting to murder his 24-year-old ex-partner just three days after their separation. The incident occurred on the night of Friday, the 20th, when the woman visited her former partner's home, accompanied by her current boyfriend and three children, to discuss matters related to a vehicle. An argument ensued after the current boyfriend left, leading to a violent attack. Following the departure of her current boyfriend, the suspect used a knife to stab his ex-partner in the back multiple times while she was holding their 1-year-old son. Fortunately, the child suffered only a minor injury to the face, but the woman sustained serious injuries, including a punctured lung. She was subsequently taken to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) and later transferred to Hospital São Paulo for further treatment.
