On Tuesday, a tragic accident occurred in Várzea Paulista, São Paulo, where a man was hit by a bus on Avenida José Rabelo Portela in the Vila Portela neighborhood. According to the São Paulo State Public Security Secretariat (SSP), the 62-year-old bus driver reported to the Military Police that the victim crossed the street unexpectedly, leaving him unable to brake in time to avoid the collision.
