The occupation arrests 18 Palestinians from the West Bank and demolishes buildings in Salfit and Jenin
Israeli forces have arrested 18 Palestinians in the West Bank and initiated demolition operations in the cities of Salfit and Jenin.
On Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces arrested 18 Palestinians during a series of raids across the West Bank, including minors, and carried out demolitions in the cities of Salfit and Jenin. This wave of arrests is part of an ongoing escalation of military operations in various provinces. Reports indicate that the Israeli military conducted home invasions, searching and damaging belongings while implementing measures that have heightened tensions in the area.
In another incident, a special Israeli force reportedly infiltrated the Balata camp, leading to additional military reinforcements being deployed via the Huwara checkpoint and Jerusalem Street in Nablus. As the operation unfolded, the army launched drones over the camp while heavy gunfire and explosions were heard, attributed to the demolition of entrances to houses during the incursion. The Israeli forces imposed a blockade on a house within the camp and subsequently arrested a man from the market area before withdrawing from the scene.
Earlier in the night, the Israeli army pulled out of Nablus after arresting at least one Palestinian youth from Union Street. A video circulated on social media captured the arrest of a young man, which highlights the ongoing unrest and volatility in the region, exacerbated by continuous military actions and a climate of fear among local communities.
