On a recent Thursday, the State Police of Latvia's Zemgale region conducted a cross-border patrol in Bauska municipality along the A7 highway, where authorities scrutinized a total of 246 vehicles, including 24 buses, and approximately 380 persons. Among the checks, 10 administrative violations were identified, indicating the effectiveness of the operation in enhancing safety and compliance with regulations. This coordinated effort involved collaboration between Latvian police and their Lithuanian counterparts from the Panevėžys County Police Commission, alongside border guards from both nations.
