SBA Urban has successfully completed the issuance of 4.5 million euros in bonds for its 'Hermano' business center project in Kaunas, finishing earlier than planned due to high demand.
SBA Urban has announced the successful completion of a bond issuance worth 4.5 million euros for its 'Hermano' business center located in Kaunas, Lithuania. Originally, this third tranche of bond offerings was scheduled to take place from February 9 to 20, but demand was so high that the distribution concluded a few days early. The funds raised through this bond issue are designated for the final construction works and equipping spaces for new tenants, with expectations of completing the building by the end of February, when the first tenants are set to move in.
In terms of investor interest, the bonds were issued at a rate that corresponds to a 7.5% annual yield, along with an attractive 8% annual interest rate for investors. A total of 133 investors from across the Baltic states participated in this bond issuance, with institutional investors accounting for more than one-third of the total demand. The average investment was over 34,000 euros, indicating substantial confidence among investors in the project's viability.
The bonds are planned to mature by November 29, 2027, and the offering was organized in collaboration with Luminor bank. This initiative not only reflects the growing interest in real estate investments in the region but also signals the advancing development of the 'Hermano' business center, which aims to become a hub for new businesses in Kaunas, enhancing the city's economic landscape and attracting further investment.
