This Tuesday marked the beginning of the auction week at the Cañuelas Agro-Livestock Market (MAG) with the arrival of 8,681 cattle unloaded from 235 trucks, representing a significant supply that stimulated activity at the market. The General Index of the Agro-Livestock Market stood at $3,970.66, while the Young Bull Index reached $4,618.77. Notably, the suggested rental value was reported at $4,728.11.

In detail, the sales breakdown included 1,161 bulls, 1,593 young bulls, 2,261 heifers, 3,057 cows, 229 bred heifers, and 393 bulls. Young bulls were once again the most sought-after category, with average prices around $5,067 per kilogram, reaching maximum prices of up to $5,700 per kilogram. In the 'special' category, prices fluctuated between $5,118 and $5,222 per kilogram, with medians close to $5,300.

Heifers also showed strength in the market, with a general average nearing $4,901 per kilogram for special lots, indicating a robust demand in this segment.
