INSS holds a drive to advance scheduled consultations in 4 cities in MS

The National Institute of Social Security (INSS) will conduct a drive this weekend in four cities in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul to expedite previously scheduled medical assessments.

The National Institute of Social Security (INSS) in Brazil is organizing a special drive on Saturday and Sunday to expedite scheduled medical assessments in four cities: Campo Grande, Corumbá, Coxim, and Costa Rica. This initiative aims to address the backlog of waiting times and improve service delivery for the citizens. A total of 420 slots will be available over the weekend, allowing individuals to have their consultations moved up from future dates.

In Campo Grande, the largest city in the initiative, 280 consultations will be held, with 140 available each day. Corumbá will provide 70 slots, divided into 35 consultations per day, while Coxim and Costa Rica will only offer morning assessments on Saturday, each with 35 slots. It is important to note that this anticipation service is exclusively for individuals who already have their medical evaluations scheduled for a later date, and the rescheduling must be requested in person at the participating agencies. The deadline to request this change is Thursday afternoon (the 26th).

The INSS's focus on addressing wait times through this proactive approach reflects ongoing efforts to enhance the efficiency of public health services. By facilitating the acceleration of medical assessments, the organization aims to alleviate some of the burdens faced by citizens waiting for essential evaluations, all while ensuring that the service remains accessible to as many individuals as possible within the limited availability of slots in each city.
