A new memorandum of cooperation has been signed to enhance risk management within ILTE, allowing experts from the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) to contribute strategically to this effort. The agreement outlines the establishment of an advisory Risk Management Committee, which will include a bank expert with significant international experience in risk management. According to the minister, the involvement of a seasoned expert from NIB is expected to further enhance ILTE’s governance, fostering greater confidence in its financial dealings on the international stage. This initiative showcases the growing importance of collaboration with experienced institutions in managing complex risk factors.
During a recent meeting with NIB President André Küüsvek, the minister recognized NIB's active collaboration in various formats, emphasizing its role in finding new funding avenues for economic growth, resilience, and security in Lithuania. This partnership not only enhances ILTE's operational capabilities but also signifies a broader trend of engaging with international partners to address local financial and risk management challenges, ultimately aiming for sustainable economic development in the region.
