IFCE offers 6,500 slots in free preparatory course for the Enem

The Federal Institute of Ceará is offering a free preparatory course for Brazil's National High School Exam (Enem) with 6,500 slots available for students from public high schools across the country.

The Instituto Federal do Ceará (IFCE) is set to launch the SuperEnem program, allowing 6,500 students from public high schools throughout Brazil to participate in a free preparatory course for the Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (Enem). This initiative aims to enhance students' readiness for the Enem, which is a critical assessment in Brazil, used for university admissions. The course will begin on March 2, 2026, and continue until the week of the Enem exam, marking an expansion from its initial format which started in 2025.

The registration for the SuperEnem course opened on February 19, and students can enroll until the available slots are filled, underscoring the demand for such preparatory programs in Brazil's educational landscape. Eligible participants include high school students from public schools and federal institutes across the nation. Those interested are required to fill out an electronic form to secure their place in the course. The course offers classes from Monday to Friday, providing an intensive training schedule that aims to cover the essential subjects tested in the Enem.

This initiative is particularly important as it reflects efforts to improve educational access and equity by providing free resources to students who might otherwise struggle to afford private preparatory courses. The SuperEnem program not only prepares students for the Enem but also contributes to broader national discussions on educational reform and the importance of supporting public education in Brazil.
