The incident, which occurred around 7 PM, was captured by a security camera showing the victim outside a commercial establishment finishing up some work before two men arrived on a motorcycle. One of the suspects dismounted and approached the victim, firing at point-blank range.

The local metrics report from the Military Police indicated that the killing may be connected to ongoing rivalries between criminal factions fighting for dominance in the drug trade. Captain Adriano Almeida mentioned that this incident is part of a series of attacks that have been recorded in the area, emphasizing the volatile nature of crime linked to drug trafficking.
