Free tickets for samba school parades in Belém: distribution starts this Tuesday, 24

Residents of Belém can obtain free tickets for upcoming samba school parades in the city's Aldeia Amazônica starting February 24.

Starting February 24, residents of Belém, Brazil, will have the opportunity to obtain free tickets for the samba school parades occurring on the nights of February 27 and 28 at Aldeia Amazônica. The local government, through the Municipal Department of Culture (SECULT), will distribute approximately 3,000 grandstand tickets, allowing more people in the community to participate in this traditional event.

The ticket distribution will take place on February 24 and 25 from 9 AM to 5 PM at the event location, requiring residents to present their ID (RG) and CPF numbers. Each individual is entitled to two tickets per CPF, facilitating access for families and friends. Additionally, each of the eight samba schools in the Special Group will receive 200 tickets to distribute within their communities, promoting inclusivity in the celebrations.

Raphaela Segadilha, the municipal secretary of culture, highlighted that this initiative aims to enhance community participation and create a more democratic celebration atmosphere. As the samba parades are significant cultural events in Brazil, this initiative not only supports local traditions but also strengthens community ties by encouraging greater involvement in such festivities.
