On February 17, the Estação das Docas in Belém will host the traditional Bailinho de Carnaval, a free event designed for families, particularly children. The festivities will run from 3 PM to 9 PM and include a variety of activities such as a carnival procession, musical performances, a kids' area, interactive games, and a food court, all while promoting child protection awareness.
The event will officially kick off at 3 PM, with a children's parade starting at 3:30 PM. The parade will feature the Charanga na Folia brass band and the boi Catiguria, moving along the waterfront of Estação das Docas and culminating at Armazém 3, where additional children-focused activities will take place. This lively atmosphere is set to engage the community and draw families to celebrate together.
Throughout the event, various local artists will perform, beginning with the Balada Kids at 5 PM, who will entertain the audience with carnival-themed songs and children's music. Later in the evening, at 6:30 PM, the Clube da Animação will hold fun and interactive games for families before the event concludes with performances by the Trem da Fantasia band from 7 PM to 9 PM, ensuring a fun-filled day for attendees of all ages.
