Exhibition about Jung at MIS attracts 75 thousand visitors and is extended for the second time
The MIS in São Paulo has extended its exhibition on Jung due to overwhelming visitor numbers, now running until March 22 after attracting 75,000 visitors since November.
The Museu da Imagem do Som (MIS) in São Paulo has announced an extension to its popular exhibition titled "The Human Soul, You, and Jung's Universe" due to the exhibition's immense success, with visitor numbers surpassing expectations. Initially set to close in January, it was first extended to March 1, and now it will remain open until March 22. The museum's director, André Sturm, expressed gratification at the high attendance, noting that visitors are coming from various cities across Brazil to experience the exhibit.
The exhibition features 20 installations across 550 square meters that aim to engage the public in three dimensions: educational, artistic, and experiential, making Jung's complex concepts more accessible. Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist and the founder of analytical psychology, developed theories that continue to resonate in modern society. His work offers insights into the human psyche, and this exhibition provides an opportunity for visitors to explore these ideas interactively.
The interest in the exhibition highlights a broader fascination with psychological themes in contemporary culture. As more than 75,000 individuals have shown interest by visiting since its launch on November 20, the event not only serves as a cultural attraction in São Paulo but also as a significant platform for discussing psychological concepts that impact society today, reinforcing the relevance of Jung's contributions to our understanding of the human experience.
