Ukraine receives generators from Azerbaijan
Ukraine has received 11 generators from Azerbaijan to support its medical and social institutions.
Ukraine has received 11 generators with a total capacity of 2.4 MW from the government of Azerbaijan, aimed at supporting essential medical and social services in Kyiv. The delivery includes equipment directed to specialized hospitals, the outpatient clinic of Bohomolets National Medical University, and various clinical hospitals and diagnostic centers. This assistance reflects Azerbaijan's ongoing humanitarian aid to Ukraine amidst challenging conditions following the conflict that began in 2022.
Since the onset of the conflict, Azerbaijan has provided a total of 149 humanitarian shipments of energy equipment to Ukraine, valued at approximately β¬10.5 million. This shipment not only includes generators but also encompasses backup power plants, power transformers, and other critical infrastructure needed to repair and rebuild Ukraine's damaged energy facilities. Such aid is vital for maintaining healthcare services and emergency response capabilities in the war-affected region.
