Tram: Changes to schedules from tomorrow until March 9

There will be changes to the tram Line 6 schedules in Athens from February 24 to March 9, 2023, as announced by STASY.

The tram services on Line 6, which runs between Pikrodafni and Syntagma, will undergo modifications starting February 24 and lasting until March 9, 2023. The changes, announced by the Athens Urban Transport Organization (STASY), indicate that the terminal stop for the service will be at the 'Fix' station during this period. This adjustment is being made to accommodate public space redevelopment works requested by the Public Space Redevelopment Company on Vassilissis Olgas Avenue.

As a result of these changes, certain stops will not be served, including 'L. Vouliagmenis', 'Zappeio', and 'Syntagma' during the specified time frame. Commuters and residents who rely on these stops for transit will need to make alternative arrangements, which could lead to delays or increased travel time. This situation highlights the ongoing infrastructure developments in Athens that aim to improve public transit but may cause temporary inconvenience to passengers.

Responding to the changes, STASY has encouraged passengers to stay informed through their official channels to manage their journeys effectively. The rebalance of the tram services underscores the city's efforts to maintain an updated transport infrastructure while catering to construction and urban development projects.
