The cultural space ºAndar has inaugurated its new location in the Santa Cecília neighborhood of São Paulo, following a move from its previous address due to the owner's request for the property. Established in 2017 by Ana Paula Dias and Anayan Moretto, ºAndar serves as a hub for artistic production including photo shoots, theater rehearsals, film work, and cultural collective meetings. The new venue includes a black box theater and seven studios for sound and image work, designed for diverse functions such as rehearsals, coworking, workshops, and other artistic activities.

As part of its opening programming, ºAndar features the play "Bombordo ou Uma Ilha Para o Esquecimento," focusing on themes related to Alzheimer's, running until March. This production aims to engage audiences with important social issues through the medium of theater. Additionally, an exhibition titled "Retrato de Manifestantes" showcases ten years of photographic documentation of protests captured by photographer Roberto, offering a poignant reflection on social movements and civic engagement.

The opening of ºAndar's new center embodies a significant step in the cultural scene of São Paulo, reinforcing the importance of artistic spaces that facilitate creative expression and community dialogue.
