A shocking incident of domestic violence has emerged from Gurugram, where a 19-year-old woman has accused her partner of severe physical abuse based on his suspicions regarding her character. The woman, who is originally from Tripura, detailed a series of horrifying assaults that culminated in her partner allegedly setting her private parts on fire with sanitizer. This act follows a pattern of physical violence that included severe beatings, where she was reportedly struck with a metal bottle and thrown against furniture, leaving her in critical condition and necessitating hospitalization.

The young woman recounted how their relationship began through an online dating app in September 2025, leading them to cohabitate shortly thereafter. In her statement to the Gurugram police, she further indicated that the abuse spanned three days and included attempts on her life with a knife, as well as coerced sexual relations under the guise of a promise of marriage.
