The Pärnu Museum has recently unveiled a new permanent exhibition titled "Madonna and Key. Manifest and Bathing Cart," which takes visitors on a journey through the history of Pärnu, from its origins as a human settlement to its status as Estonia's foremost resort town. Museum Director Aet Maatee emphasized the need for a fresh permanent exhibit, noting that the previous one had been in place for 13 years and was outdated. The ambitious redevelopment involved a major clearing of old materials and an extended preparation period of nearly three years.
