Contract between the São José dos Campos City Hall and laboratory for exam collection is terminated; see posts

A contract between the São José dos Campos City Hall and laboratory Valeclin for laboratory exam collection has been terminated, leading to changes in service locations for public health patients.

The São José dos Campos City Hall has officially terminated its contract with Valeclin, the laboratory previously responsible for collecting laboratory exams for patients within the Unified Health System (SUS). This decision was confirmed through correspondence with the laboratory's customer service and the health department of the municipality. The end of this agreement has caused a shift in the available facilities for residents needing laboratory services.

As a result of the contract's conclusion, the municipal health system has now established seven exam collection sites, operational from last Friday. Residents were surprised to find this information out through media reports, having not received prior notification about the transition. The officials are encouraging residents to visit the newly designated locations to access the required services effectively and minimize any disruption.

The new collection points include retained locations as well as several new settings across different areas of the city, which aim to ensure accessibility to laboratory services for all citizens. While changes such as this may lead to temporary confusion, the municipal administration is working toward a smooth transition and adequate communication with the community regarding these new arrangements.
