Seven new examination collection posts opened in São José dos Campos to provide services exclusively to users of the Unified Health System (SUS).
Starting from Friday, October 13, seven examination collection posts have commenced operations in São José dos Campos, Brazil, aiming to serve exclusively users of the Unified Health System (SUS). The new facilities collectively provide a capacity for up to 11,000 monthly appointments, thereby enhancing access to medical examinations within the community.
The local government has confirmed that a team of 40 professionals will be stationed at these sites to ensure smooth operations. Among the seven collection points, five are newly built, while two have undergone significant renovations to improve their functionality. This initiative reflects the municipality's commitment to expanding health services under the SUS framework and addressing the health needs of the population in São José dos Campos.
Patients are reminded that prior scheduling of examinations is necessary, with operational hours set from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm, and Saturday from 7 am to 1 pm. The specific addresses of the new and revitalized posts include Avenida Rui Barbosa, Avenida Dr. Adhemar de Barros, Avenida Cidade Jardim, Rua Andaraí, and Rua Saigiro Nakam, providing accessible locations for those in need of medical testing services.
