V. Macijauskas was a well-respected leader in Lithuania's business community, serving as the head of UAB 'Idmava ir partneriai' among other companies, and he played a significant role in various public organizations such as 'Bendrai visi'. He was also involved in equestrian sports, serving on the board of the Equestrian Sports Association, and participated actively as a member of the local governance in Klaipeda district until 2023.

Having been part of the local community for years, V. Macijauskas was known for his commitment to fostering local businesses and supporting social initiatives, which earned him recognition and respect from both peers and the community. His contribution to the organization of the cepelinų cooking championship showcased his passion for promoting Lithuanian culture and gastronomy.

The community will pay their last respects to V. Macijauskas at the Gargzdai church on February 21, followed by a mass on February 22, highlighting the significant impact he had on his community. His death marks a notable loss for local entrepreneurship and civic engagement in Lithuania.
