This milestone was highlighted by Cyprus's Deputy Minister of Shipping, Marina Hadjimanolis, during the ninth Annual Capital Link Cyprus Shipping Forum. The report indicates not only a robust performance in ship registration but also affirms Cyprus's position as a vital hub in the maritime industry.
Moreover, the sector of ship management, a fundamental pillar of Cyprus's maritime ecosystem, continues to show remarkable dynamism. Between the first half of 2024 and the first half of 2025, ship management's contribution to Cyprus's GDP surged by 17%, further establishing Cyprus as one of the world's leading centers for ship management. The Deputy Minister emphasized this growth as essential for bolstering the national economy and enhancing Cyprus's global maritime competitiveness.
