Laimutis Paulikas has made a public appeal following a devastating fire that completely destroyed his father's home, leaving the elderly man without shelter and important documents. Currently hospitalized due to injuries sustained in the fire, the father, who has lived in the house for approximately 40 years, faces an uncertain future without means to return home once discharged.

The situation escalated rapidly after a gas leak led to the fire, resulting in significant property loss and personal trauma for the family. Laimutis is coordinating efforts to collect funds for a small modular home to be built on their land, thereby providing his father with a place to live once he is discharged from the hospital. The family is aiming to raise about €18,000 to achieve this goal.
