"RADAROM!" funds are already turning into help at the front: the first squad of aerial robots will reach Ukraine in two weeks
The "RADAROM!" initiative aims to create and deliver drone and ground robot squadrons to Ukraine, enhancing military capabilities while minimizing risks to human soldiers.
The "RADAROM!" project, initiated this year, focuses on the development and provision of aerial and ground robot squadrons to Ukraine. These robotic systems are designed to operate in the most dangerous zones, replacing personnel in hazardous tasks and thereby reducing direct threats to human life. The assembly of these squads will proceed in phases, contingent on contract signings, production schedules, and logistical arrangements.
For the first squad, Ukraine is acquiring equipment that has been developed locally and tested in combat situations. This includes a range of aerial robots categorized by specific needs, with planned quantities and funding requirements clearly defined. The initial squad will consist of a drone complex and associated drone devices, signifying a pivotal step towards enhancing Ukraine's military capabilities.
Among the systems being procured are highly precise strike systems known as "Backfire", capable of executing operations even in challenging electronic warfare conditions. This stage of procurement includes two sets of "Backfire" systems and two sets of night attack drones, demonstrating Ukraine's commitment to advancing its military technology in partnership with initiatives like "RADAROM!"
