The project, involving equipment worth EUR 18 million, was fully completed by the end of last year and included a challenging calibration phase executed without halting operations on existing lines. According to Vytautas Akelaitis, the COO, the implementation was successful, maintaining both timeline and budget while achieving increased operational capacity. The modernization effort has resulted in a one-third increase in the number of robots at the facility, raising the count from 26 to 34. This infusion of technology not only improves production speed but also enhances quality control and internal logistics. Workers now benefit from more ergonomic workstations, reflecting a commitment to not only efficiency but also workers' well-being through better workplace conditions.
