The Namo Bharat Rapid Rail aims to cut down travel time between Delhi and Meerut by providing a swift connection along the 82-kilometer corridor. With trial runs successfully completed, the train can reach from Sarai Kale Khan to Begumpul in a mere 55 to 60 minutes, operating at speeds of approximately 160 kilometers per hour. This new speed is set to greatly benefit millions of passengers from Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut, offering a much-needed travel upgrade for daily commuters.

Currently, the section up to Sarai Kale Khan has been completed, allowing the Namo Bharat train to operate from New Ashok Nagar to Meerut.
