A disturbing revelation has emerged from an investigation into a group of 300 individuals, identified as pedophiles, who gathered through Zoom video calls from various parts of the world. These members brazenly boasted about their sexual inclinations and shared detailed exploitation plans within the group. During these meetings, they not only held discussions about their heinous activities but also engaged in drug-fueled behaviors while viewing child exploitation materials.

The Swedish investigative journalism program 'Uppdrag granskning' has documented police efforts to dismantle this extensive pedophile network. The investigation was able to trace the group back to a Swedish individual known as 'Helix,' who had been hosting these video calls. Authorities successfully accessed a hard drive that Helix had hidden, containing over 101 hours of graphic material related to the group's activities. This pivotal evidence has played a critical role in understanding and prosecuting the individuals involved.

In December 2025, Helix was sentenced to several years in prison, marking a significant milestone in a broader investigation. In total, ten Swedish men are suspected of being involved in the ring, with one of them being a publicly known expert.
