Chung-Ang University Presents Future Vision of AI Content

Chung-Ang University will host a media art exhibition titled 'The Future of AI-Generated Content' from the 21st, showcasing research results on the convergence of AI and content created by graduate students.

Chung-Ang University, under the leadership of President Park Sang-kyu, is set to host a media art exhibition titled 'The Future of AI-Generated Content' on the 21st. The exhibition is organized by the university's BK21 AI-Content Future Industry Education Research Group, highlighting the achievements of graduate students from the Future Media Research Lab led by Professor Park Jin-wan and the Digital Art Engineering Research Lab led by Professor Han Sang-im. Over the past year, students have been working on deep integrations of AI and content, and they will present their innovative results during this exhibition.

The aim of the exhibition is to illustrate how AI is evolving from merely being a tool for creation to becoming a 'co-creator' in the content industry. Artists participating in the exhibition will reinterpret traditions, convey sensory experiences, and envision future content landscapes co-existing with virtual beings. To enhance audience engagement and immersion, the exhibition is divided into three sections: 'Reinterpretation and Transfer' (Zone A), 'Interaction and Co-creation' (Zone B), and 'Immersion and Expansion' (Zone C).

The first section, 'Reinterpretation and Transfer,' will showcase processes of transforming data into art. For instance, works such as a transformation of K-Pop dance into traditional ink painting styles and another transforming textual tastes into images will be featured. The second section, 'Interaction and Co-creation,' will allow visitors to actively engage with the artwork, including collaborative song creation with the AI virtual idol 'Derruru'. The final section, 'Immersion and Expansion,' will create a deep immersive experience by using a darkened space to project the differentiation of human existence through a transparent cylinder installation, contributing to a thought-provoking exploration of humanity’s relationship with AI.
